This policy explains how we collect, store, and use images of children for promotional purposes, and how we obtain full parental or guardian consent before doing so.
Why We Use Images
We occasionally use photographs of our work — including children enjoying face painting or other activities — to promote Faces Unlimited via our website, printed materials, and social media. These images help showcase the quality of our artistry and the joy we bring to events.
How Images Are Collected
We will only take photos of children where prior permission has been granted by a parent or legal guardian.
- All photographs are taken in a respectful, non-intrusive manner.
- Verbal consent is always requested on the day.
- Written consent is required via a secure online form.
We never photograph children without approval, and we will never share any child’s name or personal information with the image.
How Consent Is Gained
We provide a QR code or direct link to our secure online consent form. This form allows parents or guardians to:
- ✅ Grant or deny permission for image use.
- ✅ Choose where images may be used (e.g. website only, social media, printed materials).
- ✅ Withdraw consent at any time.
Consent is time‑stamped and stored securely for future reference.
How Images Are Stored and Used
- Images and consent forms are stored in secure, password-protected digital systems.
- Only authorised members of the Faces Unlimited team have access to these files.
- We never share images with third parties, unless explicitly agreed in advance for a specific campaign or event.
Withdrawing Consent
Parents and guardians have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
To do so, simply email us via our contact form with the request. Once received, we will:
- ✅ Immediately remove the image(s) from our website and social media.
- ✅ Cease any further use or distribution.
- ✅ Confirm the removal has taken place.
